We are so glad that we chose the Duke as our wedding venue. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. The Duke itself is a stunning venue, located at the waterfront of dazzling Russell. The functions staff was incredibly helpful, had attention to detail and accommodated all wishes we had. On the day everything was well organized and worked out fantastically! Our guests were stoked by the food - that was the best cured fish many of us had eaten. The indoors and outdoors set-up was fantastic.
The staff was flexible, accommodating, kind and responsive. We loved the small neat touches that made us feel like we were part of the Duke's tribe. We would absolutely choose the Duke again and will be glad to return. Thank you!
My parents had their wedding here recently and it was incredible. Beth - the events manager, went above and beyond at every turn to help us organize everything, and the day went off without a hitch. We all felt really informed and supported the entire time, and it was a beautiful beautiful venue.

My partner and I couldn’t recommend the Duke of Marlborough more as a venue for your wedding. Such a stunning spot on the bay and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Food was 10/10 and the service is extremely professional and so friendly - staff really go the extra mile.

The accommodations were stunning, providing a comfortable and luxurious experience for us and all our guests. From planning through to celebrating our very special day, the Duke went above and beyond in every way. They were so helpful with suggesting great, local vendors and always flexible in meeting our needs. Many of our guests have raved about our wedding at the Duke, remarking on the beautiful setting, delicious food (and wine) and highly attentive staff. Ida, Bridget, Alistair and the team were absolutely brilliant and ensured we had the best time! We really can't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. It was just perfect. We had an absolute awesome time. One we will never forget. We would like to thank Ida, Ellie, Nicole,Di and all the wonderful staff who kept the drinks and food flowing. The food and the view were amazing and it was truly our fairytale wedding. We cannot thank you all enough for such a stress free relaxed day. The staff were all so helpful, especially the cleaners, our room was spacious and very clean not to mention the view was just breathtaking.
